Challenge #40

Here in Michigan, nice weather is just too short. Our summer months seem to go by just way to fast. Once summer hits, our schedule fills up with activity after activity. The kids have their activities, my husband and I have our activities, and to top it with family trips, I have very few free weekends available.

Next Saturday, my mother-in-law and I will be bicycling across Michigan. I'm not sure of the exact mileage, but it's somewhere just under 300 miles. We have 6 straight days of cycling with camping each night. As you ladies are scrapping away, think of me!

Okay, lets get on with the next challenge!!

Ok, so having the kids out of school is really throwing me for a loop. I used to have a list of the things that needed to be done and when they needed to be completed. My boys have been out of school for 1 week and I feel as if my world has turned upside down.

Challenge #39

June 1st. Wow. Summer is just about here! I just wish the rainy/stormy season would end ... all of the tornadoes through the heartland have just been devastating ... we've even had tornadoes in Michigan! Last Tuesday the tornado sirens were going off in the little town that I live in. I had just bought a weather radio and we had literally set it up the day before ... I was sitting here watching the news, that thing went off and scared the bejezus out of me! Luckily, the storms broke up before they got to us, though!
