Challenge #34

Lots of activity in the house this week... I've been working on the spring cleaning. We've lived in this house almost a year, and I'm finally getting a feeling for what I want to do in each of the rooms. It really takes me this long to see how we are going to use the rooms. I picked out paint colors before we moved in because my husband wanted it professionally painted. I gave him a hard time because I'm the painter and I like to decorate one room at a time, but overall I'm please with the colors. I'm going to need to make a couple tweaks later on down the road.

Color really is my thing. I love putting together colors that most are afraid to decorate with. I always say, "color on the walls is the cheapest thing to change." I think that is why scrapbooking is such a passion for me (and my paper collection is on the verge of hoarding).

Speaking of color... check out the next challenge. At least it was for me! But, on the other hand, it really reminds me of Spring!

Challenge #33

Challenge #33 marks the beginning of the new design team's term! Please join me in welcoming the talented ladies to the team! We're sure that you'll be inspired by everything that they create.

Also, don't forget that we've made a few changes to the format again. Being in our first year, we're still working out the kinks. Color Me Scrappy is going back to reveals on the 1st and 15th of each month. Some of our participants found it confusing to keep track of overlapping challenges, so we've returned to simpler times. We hope you understand and embrace these changes! If you've got questions, please don't hesitate to ask, we're here to help!

Challenge #32

With this challenge, it is time to say good-bye to Term 2. With that, we are saying good-bye to some fabulous team members. I'd like to thank each and every member for their time and dedication. I was proud to reveal each members page for the challenges. I've seen all of them grow while they were members of Color Me Scrappy. Sometimes, our color combos are a little unconventional. I guess that is why we call them challenges, but they stepped up to every challenge.

Challenge #31

Oh ... I'm sooooo ready for winter to be over. Here in Michigan we've been freezing lately ... although we've had some sunny days (which is really rare!) and that has helped my mood and motivation immensely! Do you remember when I told you about how Lisa and I were doing a '100 pages before buying' challenge? Well I'm pleased to say that I'm up to 71 pages and Lisa is right on my heels at 68! Our goal is to be finished by the time the Mega Meet happens (Mother's Day Weekend) and I think we'll have no problems meeting that deadline!

This will be the last reveal for a few of our Design Team members ... we have loved having each and every one of them. They all have a unique style and have brought so much diversity to Color Me Scrappy .. I hope you'll take the time to stop by their blogs and wish them well ...
